We have a dedicated Activities Director who outlines the programs an supervises her staff. It is the goal of our Activities Deparment to provide entertaining and stimulating therapeutic activites that meet the unique physical, social, emotional and spirtual needs of each resident.

Our therapeutic activities place special emphasis on the needs of Alzheimer and Dementia clients. Such activities are catered to their unique needs and promote a sense of independence, social acceptance and accomplishment. Often times, activities are performed on a one on one basis with an Alzheimer or Dementia resident so that maximum stimulation and attention are obtained.

A daily structured program allows our elders to be able to participate in all activities if they so choose and decreases any confusion, frustration or restlessness. Announcements of activity times and locations are made over our intercom before an activity begins and activity calendars are posted throughout the facility. A morning announcement is made over the intercom stating the date, weather, menu and the activities for the day.

Our entire staff and dedicated volunteers work together to ensure each resident is provided the most meaningful and enjoyable quality of life possible.
